Summer Training

The summer training provided by srim is different from other management institutes. Students are sent to industrial companies and have to prepare a detailed report in conjunction with the officials of the company. This report is presented to the senior officials of the company who evaluate the same in terms of their practical relevance to the company.

At the end of the second term, all students will have to undergo summer training of 6 to 8 weeks with an industrial, business or service organization by taking up a project study. Each student will be required to submit a project report to the faculty for the work undertaken during this period within three weeks of the commencement of the third term for evaluation.

During the second year, in addition to compulsory papers and project studies, a student has to choose six optional elective papers in the third term and six optional elective papers in the fourth term from the following list of elective papers. Optional elective papers to be offered will depend on the number of students opting for each paper. A minimum number of 15 students should be available for offering an elective paper.
