Eligibility
An applicant should have a three year bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the association of indian universities as eligible for post-graduate studies in management. Candidates having managerial work experience would be given preference. Candidates accepted for admission to degree programme should have graduated or expecting to graduate by july 2008. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply for admission. They would be required to submit their marks sheet latest by 3rd october, 2008, otherwise, they may be asked to withdraw from the programme.
Entrance Test
Applicants are required to appear for a written test to be conducted by shri ram institute of management (srim) at new delhi and other regional centres (depending upon the response). Written test will be waived for those who have cleared mat/cat and also similar tests of the state government, if any, and are placed above 50th percentile.
Group Discussion and Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and interview at delhi and other regional centres (depending upon the response) as per schedule.
Admission Offer
Final selection will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicants' past academic record, work experience, and performance in the gd and interview. Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection within a week. The selected candidates must pay the first installment of fees by due date; otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
